WOrship Service
This week Pastor Ken Woode is to give sermon titled “Bring It On!”
The 1st Sunday in Lent is a significant day for Christians worldwide. This day marks the beginning of the Lenten season, which is a time of reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. It is a time to draw closer to God, to seek forgiveness, and to prepare our hearts and minds for the Easter celebration.
The Lenten season lasts for forty days and culminates in Holy Week, leading up to Easter Sunday. The first Sunday in Lent is a time to reflect on our mortality, our relationship with God, and our need for salvation. It is also an opportunity to seek forgiveness for our sins and to begin the process of spiritual renewal.
As we celebrate the 1st Sunday in Lent, let us take time to reflect on our lives, to seek God's forgiveness, and to renew our commitment to living a life of faith. Let us embrace the disciplines of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving, which are hallmarks of the Lenten season.
Join us in celebrating this significant day in the Christian calendar as we journey towards Easter Sunday with devotion, reflection, and renewed hope.
